Understand and differentiate views on central points in the philosophy of schooling and on different philosophical approaches to those points, and offer related support for and critical responses to these views. Admission to candidature requires: (i) a bachelor’s degree with honours in an appropriate space of research from the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification; or (ii) a Master of Education by coursework from the University of Sydney with a weighted average mark of no less than 75, or equal qualification.
Palliser Regional Schools agrees that students with exceptional needs should be full participants in class and society. The PESGB is committed to supporting and promoting philosophy of schooling in a climate of inclusion, tolerance and respect for variety. The major teacher-centered philosophies of training are essentialism and perennialism.
This module gives detailed data of a few of the main tendencies in current philosophical logic and in philosophy of language.
