The key, she says, is providing the AI with the right information and feedback. Over the past year, she has written dozens of lessons with AI assistance, testing its strengths and limitations.

The consultant suggests giving the AI formatting instructions to produce clean-looking output. Teachers can also ask the AI to search for practice-based advice on making word problems for students learning English and apply that advice.
